Terms of Sales

These Terms of Sale govern the sale of merchandise by YOUFANCY.COM and all of its affiliate sites (collectively, "The Portal") to you. Your use of The Portal to purchase merchandise indicates your agreement to follow and to be bound by these Terms of Sale.

ORDERS

All orders are subject to written acceptance by YOUFANCY.COM and will be confirmed, in writing, by e-mail. Merchandise displayed on The Portal may be out-of-stock or discontinued.

PRICES

All prices are in EURO. Prices may change without notice.

PAYMENT METHODS

Currently we accept only PayPal as a payment method. By clicking on SUBMIT ORDER, after having confirmed the details of your purchase, you will be taken to the PayPal login page where you can enter your account and conclude your payment. If you do not have a PayPal account yet, you can create one from the PayPal login page, before concluding your order.

SHIPPING METHODS - HANDLING TIME - DELIVERY TIME

Customs Papers are not required and content and value are not displayed on the package for orders below € 200 (Total value of the order). Above the € 200 threshold the order must be insured and could be subject to additional duties & taxes upon entering the recipient's country. The recipient of the order will be responsible for any import duties or taxes charged by the recipient's country. The package is usually delivered in about 7/10 business days for Europe, 15/20 business days for the USA and Canada, 20/30 business days to other Countries. Full Insurance is available for some kinds of items and towards certain countries: please enquire. Fast Shipping, with or without Full Insurance, is also available although quite expensive: please enquire. Non–Standard fast shipping is available upon request. It is also the only shipping method available to dispatch bulky items and items weighing over 2Kg.

Orders will be processed in 2 business days after receiving the payment. Customers will be notified of the shipping by e-mail.

You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with the delivery of merchandise you purchased on The Portal.

YOUFANCY.COM cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery caused by the carrier or by the Postal System or the Customs of the Country of destination, nor can be held responsible if the item cannot be delivered because the addressee is absent when the postman delivers the item, or if the addressee does not pick-up the package at his Local Post Office after the postman leaves a notice of unsuccessful delivery due to absence of the addressee. You bear all risks of loss and damage to the merchandise from the time the same has cleared YOUFANCY.COM's Storage Center. Delivery is deemed complete and title to the merchandise passes to you upon acceptance of shipment by the carrier.

NOTES ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

REGISTERED AIR MAIL

Registered Air Mail (RAM) is available to all countries and is our standard shipping method for all packages weighting up to 2 Kg (6Lb 6,5Oz) and not exceeding a maximum package size (L+W+H) of 90cm (35,4"), with the longest side not exceeding 60cm (23,6"). RAM does not require the filling of Customs Papers and its content and value are not declared on the shipping ticket, not even when fully insured. RAM is usually delivered in about 7/10 business days to Europe, 15/20 business days to USA and Canada, 20/30 business days to all other countries.

QUICK PACK EUROPE

Any item whose shipping weight exceeds 2Kg or the maximum package size allowed for RAM can be shipped by Quick Pack Europe (QPE) to certain countries of the European Union. QPE does not require the completion of Customs Papers and its content and value are not declared on the shipping form, not even when fully insured. QPE is usually delivered in 5 to 7 business days, not counting the day of shipment and any eventual delay caused by the Customs of the country of destination.

QUICK PACK INTERNATIONAL

Any item whose shipping weight exceeds 2Kg or the maximum package size allowed for RAM can be shipped to the countries not served by QPE via Quick Pack International (QPI). QPI is available towards 190 countries, requires the completion of Customs Papers and contents and value must be declared on the shipping form, even if uninsured. QPI is usually delivered in 7 to 10 business days, not counting the day of shipment and any eventual delay caused by the Customs of the country of destination. QPI is fully traceable.

INTERNATIONAL POSTAL RULES

Please remember that RAM, QPE and QPI are all subject to strict International Postal Rules. Someone must sign a receipt when the package is delivered, although not necessarily the addressee. If nobody is there to sign, the carrier or the postman will leave a note. The addressee will then have to personally go, carrying the note, to his carrier's office or to the post office and claim the package. If the package goes unclaimed for about 7 to 10 days it will be returned to the sender who will be charged for the return shipment and also for Import Fees unless the package is returned from one of the countries of the European Union. It is your responsibility to avoid this happening. If the package is returned we will ship proceed to send it back to you only if you will pay back the return shipment costs, the Import Fees if applicable, and the new shipping costs for dispatch.

COMBINED PAYMENTS AND SHIPPING

If more items are purchased, or if you intend to purchase additional items already listed, we can consider requests to combine their shipments upon verification of these two conditions: 1) this option is available for QPE and QPI, up to a total shipping weight of 30Kg and we will charge you the cost for the combined shipping weight. 2) for RAM each package cannot exceed a 2Kg shipping weight. For instance, if the combined shipping weight is 4Kg, we will divide the shipment in two packages and charge you for two shipments, which will however be cheaper than an item by item delivery. Moreover, we will continue to break-up your combined shipments in RAM lots of 2Kg up to the point where a single QPE or QPI shipment will cost the same or less than multiple RAM shipments.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

All sales are final except in the case of gross misrepresentation: that is, when an item does not correspond objectively and significantly to its description. If this should happen the buyer is entitled to ask for the return of the item: we will accept these requests within 3 days from delivery of the item. The buyer will pay for the return shipment, including insurance if the original package was insured, and will apply good care in packing it. Upon inspecting the returned item and finding it in the same condition it was shipped out and in fact not corresponding to its description, we will make arrangements for a full refund through PayPal: the refund will include the item's price, its original shipping/insurance costs, and the return shipping/insurance costs.

If for some reason you are dissatisfied with the transaction, please contact us and give us the opportunity to correct the issue to your satisfaction: we can all make honest mistakes just out of distraction.

VINTAGE ITEMS

Every item you see pictured on Vintage sections of The Portal is the exact item you are going to purchase. There are no alterations to photos to remove imperfections or dislocations. We try to make sure all of our items are accurately represented. Each item descriptions will accurately denote any flaws, such as scratches, frays, stains, or discoloration. Please try to be fair and do not split hairs or expect old objects to be exactly as new ones: even mint, new old stock, and unused items cannot be as new for the obvious reason that they have been sitting around for some time.

YOUFANCY.COM reserves the right to refuse returns of any merchandise or any future orders when a customer has carried out an excessive number of returns beginning from the date of the first return.
